Job Summary:

As the Financial Controller at Rapid Rentals Limited, you'll play a pivotal role in steering the operational performance of our Finance department. Your responsibilities encompass strategic leadership, commercial acumen, regulatory compliance, and fostering a culture of robust internal controls. Acting as a Finance Business Partner, you'll align financial strategies with organizational objectives and project-specific needs.

General Duties & Responsibilities:

• Craft and implement Finance department strategies aligned with business goals.
• Lead, manage, and develop the Finance team for optimal efficiency and effectiveness.
• Establish and monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to drive departmental performance.
• Analyze financial performance, provide insights, and recommend measures for goal attainment.
• Collaborate closely with the Managing Director on budgeting and capital expenditure.
• Ensure consistency in service delivery across all business units.
• Continuously improve internal systems and processes, fostering innovation and adaptation.
• Stay abreast of legislative and industry developments, advising management accordingly.
• Oversee departmental administration and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Conduct staff training and development initiatives to enhance team capabilities.
• Actively promote the business through conferences, presentations, and external engagements.
• Safeguard the Finance department's adherence to health and safety protocols.

Core Duties & Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement Finance strategies tailored to business requirements.
• Advise management on dividend decisions and optimal financing options.
• Manage and mentor Finance staff, ensuring resource optimization.
• Review and monitor financial accounts, ensuring robust financial control.
• Oversee financial modeling and analysis to support decision-making.
• Liaise with external stakeholders on financial matters, including tax and audit.
• Maintain cash and asset management protocols for optimal liquidity and asset utilization.
• Drive efficiency through KPI monitoring and continuous process improvement.
• Mitigate financial risks and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Act as the primary point of contact for high-level financial matters.

Key Skills and Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar role, with a proven track record.
• Strong technical knowledge of Financial Reporting Standards.
• Professional qualification (ACA, ACCA) required.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel.
• Customer-focused with strong leadership and communication skills.
• High level of integrity and attention to detail.
• Analytical mindset with problem-solving abilities.
• Proactive, self-motivated, and adaptable.

Salary: N400,000 - N500,000 Monthly.
