Join our Balance Sheet Management practice within Financial Risk and Regulatory Services and play a pivotal role in helping business leaders integrate proactive and dynamic risk management practices into their corporate strategies. Our mission is to support clients from strategy through implementation, ensuring they leverage financial risk management to seize new opportunities and achieve success in a smoothly, systematically, and sustainably evolving market landscape.
As part of our team, you will be instrumental in delivering gap assessments and designing and implementing processes for asset and liability management, funding and liquidity planning, stress testing, and capital management. You will develop tools that help our clients optimize capital and liquidity resources in line with regulatory expectations, ensuring they navigate changing markets, technologies, and competitive pressures effectively.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with clients to integrate risk management into their business practices, from strategy to execution.
- Design and implement processes for asset and liability management, funding and liquidity planning, and capital management.
- Conduct gap assessments to identify areas for improvement in financial risk management.
- Develop and deploy tools to optimize the use of capital and liquidity resources.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory expectations and support clients through regulatory changes.
Job Requirements and Preferences
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree.
- At least 3 years of relevant experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s Degree in Business Administration/Management, Economics, Finance, Mathematics, or Statistics.
- Extensive knowledge in financial services products and services, including retail and commercial banking, capital markets, asset management, and insurance.
- Deep understanding of macroeconomic and regulatory environments affecting financial institutions.
- Experience in business process design, automation, and tools such as bots and visualization.
- Expertise in balance sheet management, asset liability management (ALM), funds transfer pricing (FTP), capital management, and hedging.
- Proficiency in liquidity management, including intraday liquidity, cash management, cash flow forecasting, and funding planning.
- Knowledge of liquidity requirements under Reg YY, OCC bulletins, and Federal Reserve SR letters.
