Job Summary:
As a Fitter at Sunagrow International Oil Company Limited, you'll play a crucial role in assembling, installing, and maintaining mechanical systems and equipment. We're seeking an individual with expertise in fitting, welding, and fabrication who can effectively interpret technical drawings and schematics.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assemble and install mechanical systems and equipment
- Perform maintenance and repair tasks on mechanical systems and equipment
- Interpret technical drawings and schematics accurately
- Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations
- Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines and budget requirements
- Utilize hand and power tools proficiently for cutting, shaping, and fitting materials
- Conduct welding and fabrication tasks as needed
Requirements:
- OND in a relevant field with 2 - 3 years of experience
- Proven track record as a Fitter or in a similar role
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication abilities
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and schematics
- Experience in welding, fabrication, and handling hand/power tools
Physical Requirements:
Candidates must be capable of lifting heavy objects, standing for extended periods, and working in confined spaces.
Salary:
N60,000 - N80,000 monthly.
