Checkers Suites and Apartments offers a refined retreat just a short drive away from Abuja Airport and the Central Business District. We're seeking a Front Desk Officer to join our team in Sabon-Lugbe, Abuja (FCT) on a full-time basis.
Job Description:
As the welcoming face of our establishment, you'll provide friendly and efficient service to guests both in person and over the phone. Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing reservations, check-ins, and check-outs.
- Ensuring guests' needs are promptly met to enhance their satisfaction.
- Handling inquiries and requests professionally and courteously.
- Coordinating with housekeeping for room turnovers.
- Enforcing facility rules and policies.
- Maintaining a tidy and welcoming reception area.
- Answering and directing calls, and informing guests about rates and services.
- Keeping accurate records of room bookings.
Requirements:
- Minimum of a University Degree or Higher National Diploma in a relevant field.
- At least 3 years of experience in reception or front desk roles, preferably in hospitality.
- Professional demeanor with strong time management and teamwork skills.
- Detail-oriented and observant.
- Residence in proximity to Airport Road preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Adaptability, courtesy, and excellent communication skills.
