The Alex Ekwueme Federal University Ndufu-Alike Ikwo (AE-FUNAI) invites applications for its postgraduate programs for the academic session 2023/2024. The application deadline has been extended to May 8th, 2024, with the Pen and Paper screening exercise set for May 15, 2024.

- Basic Medical Sciences: Anatomy, Medical Biochemistry, Physiology
- Biological Sciences: Biology, Microbiology, Biotechnology, Biochemistry
- Physical Sciences: Chemistry, Mathematics/Statistics, Computer Science/Informatics, Physics/Geology/Geophysics
- Humanities: History and Strategic Studies, Foreign Languages, Linguistics and Nigerian Languages, English and Literary Studies
- Environmental Sciences: Fine and Applied Arts
- Management Sciences: Accountancy/Banking and Finance, Business Administration
- Social Sciences: Economics and Development Studies, Psychology, Sociology, Criminology and Security Studies, Political Science
Entry Requirements:
- Candidates must possess a minimum of five credits, including English Language, in WASC, NECO, GCE, or NABTEB. Mathematics credit is required for Science, Basic Medical Sciences, Management, and Social Sciences.
- Graduates of AE-FUNAI or other recognized universities with relevant qualifications are eligible to apply.
Program Durations:
- Postgraduate Diploma: Full-Time - 2 semesters, Part-Time - 4 semesters
- Master’s Degree: Full-Time - 3 semesters, Part-Time - 4 semesters
- Doctorate Degree: Full-Time - 6 semesters, Part-Time - 8 semesters
How to Apply:
- Pay a non-refundable Application Form fee of Twenty Thousand Naira (N20,000.00) at any commercial bank using the Remita platform.
- Complete the online Application Form on the FUNAI website (funai.edu.ng), including referee details.
- Download and submit Referee Report forms and academic transcript request slips to respective authorities.
- Submit completed Application Forms and relevant documents to the Secretary, School of Postgraduate Studies, AE-FUNAI.
