FUNAI Postgraduate Admission 2023/2024: Apply Now!

The Alex Ekwueme Federal University Ndufu-Alike Ikwo (AE-FUNAI) invites applications for its postgraduate programs for the academic session 2023/2024. The application deadline has been extended to May 8th, 2024, with the Pen and Paper screening exercise set for May 15, 2024.

• Basic Medical Sciences: Anatomy, Medical Biochemistry, Physiology
• Biological Sciences: Biology, Microbiology, Biotechnology, Biochemistry
• Physical Sciences: Chemistry, Mathematics/Statistics, Computer Science/Informatics, Physics/Geology/Geophysics
• Humanities: History and Strategic Studies, Foreign Languages, Linguistics and Nigerian Languages, English and Literary Studies
• Environmental Sciences: Fine and Applied Arts
• Management Sciences: Accountancy/Banking and Finance, Business Administration
• Social Sciences: Economics and Development Studies, Psychology, Sociology, Criminology and Security Studies, Political Science

Entry Requirements:

• Candidates must possess a minimum of five credits, including English Language, in WASC, NECO, GCE, or NABTEB. Mathematics credit is required for Science, Basic Medical Sciences, Management, and Social Sciences.
• Graduates of AE-FUNAI or other recognized universities with relevant qualifications are eligible to apply.

Program Durations:

• Postgraduate Diploma: Full-Time - 2 semesters, Part-Time - 4 semesters
• Master’s Degree: Full-Time - 3 semesters, Part-Time - 4 semesters
• Doctorate Degree: Full-Time - 6 semesters, Part-Time - 8 semesters

How to Apply:

1. Pay a non-refundable Application Form fee of Twenty Thousand Naira (N20,000.00) at any commercial bank using the Remita platform.
2. Complete the online Application Form on the FUNAI website (funai.edu.ng), including referee details.
3. Download and submit Referee Report forms and academic transcript request slips to respective authorities.
4. Submit completed Application Forms and relevant documents to the Secretary, School of Postgraduate Studies, AE-FUNAI.
