Job Title: General Manager
Location: Port Harcourt, Rivers
Employment Type: Full-time
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategic business plans to achieve the company’s goals and objectives.
- Provide visionary leadership and direction, ensuring alignment with the company's mission and values.
- Oversee daily operations to ensure all departments are functioning efficiently and effectively.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and make necessary adjustments to optimize operations.
- Prepare and manage budgets, financial forecasts, and comprehensive reports.
- Analyze financial performance, implementing strategies to enhance profitability and manage costs.
- Recruit, train, and manage staff, including setting performance goals and conducting regular evaluations.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and legal requirements.
- Implement and oversee health and safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
- Prepare and present regular reports on operational performance, financial status, and strategic initiatives.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including employees, clients, and board members.
- Foster a positive work environment, addressing employee concerns and conflicts promptly.
- Maintain high standards of customer service and satisfaction.
- Address and resolve customer issues and complaints in a timely and professional manner.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities and partnerships to drive growth.
- Stay informed about industry trends and market conditions to make informed business decisions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a General Manager or in a similar executive role.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to analyze complex problems and develop effective solutions.
- Proficiency in business management software and tools.
- Strong understanding of business operations, financial management, and strategic planning.
Salary
N150,000 - N200,000 / Month.
