Formerly known as Nigeria International Bank Ltd, the institution rebranded to Citibank Nigeria in 2008. Today, it operates 12 branches across strategic locations in Lagos, Abuja, Port Harcourt, Warri, Kano, Bonny, Aba, Lanlate, and Ososa, boasting a workforce of approximately 300 employees. We are currently seeking a qualified individual for the role of Head of Corporate Sales Nigeria to join our team in Lagos.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the corporate sales strategy in Nigeria.
- Originate innovative ideas and collaborate with relationship managers to deliver value-added products and services.
- Drive revenue growth and maintain Citibank's dominant position in the Rates and Currencies business.
- Focus on ecommerce business, embedding CitiFX Pulse product with corporate clients.
- Support relationship managers in devising treasury-based solutions for corporate clients.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies and local regulations in all derivative sales practices.
Requirements:
- University undergraduate degree.
- Relevant professional qualifications (e.g., CFA, ACA, MBA).
- Minimum 15 years of post-graduation experience in banking, with at least 10 years in the industry.
- Strong analytical skills, decisiveness, and high energy.
- Knowledge of Citi operational processes, market risk policy, and local regulations.
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
