Mediplan Healthcare Limited, a leading Health Maintenance Organization (HMO), is dedicated to delivering quality healthcare solutions to both corporate entities and individuals through a prepaid payment model.
We are currently seeking a highly motivated individual to join our team in the following position:
Job Title: Medical Doctor (HMO)
Location: Maryland, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time
Responsibilities:
- Strategically acquire and manage HMO providers within Mediplan Healthcare's network
- Conduct hospital assessments, accreditations, and provider education initiatives
- Organize and oversee annual medical examinations for eligible clients
- Negotiate tariffs for provider services and monitor network for quality assurance
- Conduct thorough assessment and credentialing of provider facilities
- Address provider issues promptly and effectively
- Ensure efficient case management and referral of enrollees upon admission
Qualifications:
- MBBS/MD degree in Medicine and Surgery
- Valid practicing license with 2-5 years of post-accreditation experience, preferably in Health Insurance/Managed Care
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and leadership abilities
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Knowledge of National Health Insurance Authority (NHIA) workings is advantageous
Salary: N250,000 - N300,000 per month
