Job Summary
The HR Generalist will manage the development, implementation, and enforcement of HR policies and company guidelines, ensuring compliance with legal standards and industry regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage a recruitment plan and calendar based on operational and sales forecasts.
- Create and manage official internal documents including offer letters, appointment letters, salary slips, and warning letters.
- Design employee engagement plans, secure budget approvals, and initiate activities.
- Collaborate with vendors, upper management, and employees to maintain CSR standards.
- Assess employee performance, manage pay scales, and address grievances.
- Implement onboarding plans and educate new hires on HR policies and procedures.
- Maintain accurate physical and digital employee files, including documents, benefits, and attendance records.
Qualifications / Skills
- 7-10 years of progressive HR experience, particularly in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience in payroll processing and HR coaching.
- Broad knowledge in safety, training, employee relations, performance management, and organizational planning.
- Proficient with HR Information Systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
- PHR, SPHR, or SHRM certification is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of state and federal employment laws and HR best practices.
Salary
N20,000,000 - N25,000,000 annually.
