Job Summary:
As the Human Resource Manager at Golden Oil Industries Limited, you'll play a pivotal role in fostering a positive work environment while ensuring compliance with labor laws and regulations. Your focus will be on enhancing employee relations, boosting morale, and driving productivity to reduce turnover rates.
Responsibilities:
- Implement employee well-being initiatives and provide HR policy guidance.
- Manage employee relations, including grievance procedures and counseling.
- Investigate and resolve complex industrial relations issues promptly.
- Collect and analyze employee feedback to refine people programs and policies.
- Lead or participate in projects aimed at continuous improvement.
- Develop and enforce policies across various domains, ensuring compliance.
- Maintain relationships with unions and align employee treatment with company values.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's and Master's Degree in Business Administration or related field.
- Professional membership in the Chartered Institute of Personnel Management of Nigeria (CIPM) preferred.
- Extensive knowledge of labor laws and experience dealing with unions.
- Strong understanding of HR policies and procedures.
- Excellent problem-solving, negotiation, and influencing skills.
- 7-10 years of experience in HR practice at the management level.
- Proficiency in Nigerian and international labor laws.
