Join Our Team: Human Resource Officer
We are currently recruiting a dedicated and experienced Human Resource Officer to join our dynamic team in Lekki Phase 1, Lagos. As a full-time member of the MP Infrastructure family, you will play an essential role in the administration and management of HR functions, contributing to the growth and efficiency of our organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain a comprehensive database of staff information, ensuring all records are accurate and up-to-date. Create and manage files for new joiners, and actively follow up to ensure all necessary documents and details are collected.
- Prepare payment schedules for daily workers, seconded staff, and hotel expenses, ensuring timely and accurate payments.
- Oversee the monthly filing and archiving of all HR-related documents, including payslips, leave forms, and timesheets, while maintaining strict confidentiality.
- Manage contract amendments and extensions, ensuring staff members are fully informed of their contract terms and conditions.
- Coordinate the exit process for departing employees, including early notice, document filing, and conducting exit interviews.
- Assist in the smooth integration of new employees through probationary reviews, policy training, and onboarding procedures.
- Archive training certificates in compliance with internal guidelines, ensuring records are easily accessible.
- Handle accommodation bookings for staff and visiting guests, ensuring smooth travel and accommodation arrangements.
- Organize and maintain essential personnel and contractual documents for all base staff.
- Manage both physical and electronic HR files, ensuring all documentation is in compliance with established archiving procedures.
- Prepare HR files for audits and background checks, ensuring readiness for inspection and review.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Public Administration, Social Sciences, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of experience in Human Resources management.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Strong analytical and writing skills, with the ability to handle complex HR tasks effectively.
- Familiarity with Nigerian Labor Law and HR best practices.
- A high level of integrity and discretion in handling sensitive HR matters.
- Ability to start immediately.
Salary
N150,000 per month.
