Job Overview
The ICT Manager will be responsible for overseeing and maintaining Dozzy Oil & Gas Limited’s information and communication technology (ICT) infrastructure. This includes the management of systems, networks, and all IT services critical to ensuring smooth business operations. The successful candidate will possess a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to provide support in a fast-paced and evolving work environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage all ICT-related functions within the company, ensuring the effective operation of all technical systems and services.
- Oversee the installation, configuration, and maintenance of servers, networks, and software applications to meet the company’s operational needs.
- Monitor and troubleshoot network and system performance, providing proactive solutions to prevent downtime or disruptions.
- Maintain the company’s data security and integrity through regular audits and adherence to established security protocols.
- Provide technical support to other departments, ensuring smooth communication and collaboration across the organization.
- Stay current with industry best practices, technological advancements, and emerging trends to drive continuous improvement in ICT systems.
Qualifications & Experience Requirements
- A Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in ICT management roles, specifically within the Oil and Gas sector in Nigeria.
- Proficiency in managing ICT systems, networks, and IT infrastructure.
- Deep understanding of ICT best practices and frameworks (e.g., ITIL, ISO 27001).
- Relevant certifications in networking and systems management such as Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) or Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE).
- Training or certification in project management methodologies (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) is a plus.
- Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to resolve complex hardware, software, and network issues.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic environment.
Salary
N200,000 - N250,000 monthly.
