IAUE Postgraduate Programmes Overview
IAUE offers a comprehensive selection of postgraduate programmes designed to meet the diverse needs of students:
- Postgraduate Diplomas (PGD, PDDE, PGDE)
- Master’s Degrees (MA, MEd, MSc)
- Doctorate Degrees (PhD)
Candidates awaiting their NYSC discharge certificates are also welcome to apply, demonstrating the university's commitment to inclusivity and accessibility.
Eligibility Criteria
Postgraduate Diploma (PGD, PGDL, PGDE):
- A first degree from a recognized university with a Pass or Third Class Degree, or
- A Higher National Diploma in a related field.
Master’s Degree Programmes (MA, MA Ed, MEd, MLS, MSc, MSc Ed):
- A first degree from a recognized university with at least a Second Class Degree in a related field, or
- A Postgraduate Diploma in a corresponding area of study.
Master of Philosophy (MPhil/PhD):
- MBA or MPA qualifications, or
- A Master’s degree in a related field with a CGPA below 3.5 on a 5.0 scale.
Doctorate Degree (PhD):
- A Master’s degree in a closely related field with a CGPA of 3.5 or higher on a 5.0 scale.
Programme Duration
- PGD & PGDE Programmes: 12 calendar months
- PDDE Programme: 4 calendar months (accelerated)
- MA, MEd & MSc Programmes: 12 calendar months
- PhD Programme: 24 calendar months, 6 semesters, or 3 long vacations
Application Procedure
To apply, follow these steps through the IAUE online portal:
- Visit the IAUE Website.
- Click on “Postgraduate School” under the Admissions Menu.
- Select “Registration” from the Postgraduate School page.
- Enter your full name, phone number, email address, and department of interest, then click “Register.”
- Check your email for login details.
- Sign in using the provided credentials.
- Select the 2024/2025 session.
- Navigate to “Fees” from the menu on the left.
- Generate an invoice and complete the payment online for the registration fee:
- PhD: ?40,600.00
- Masters: ?35,600.00
- PGD: ?25,600.00
- Brochure Fee: ?7,600.00
- Pay the brochure fee and download the brochure from the documents menu.
- Complete your registration form, upload your passport photo, and submit your credentials.
