In this role, you'll be responsible for managing and nurturing existing customer relationships while exploring new avenues for business expansion. Key Responsibilities:
Sales:
- Gain a deep understanding of customers' businesses, market trends, and industry dynamics.
- Identify and capitalize on sales growth opportunities leveraging Maersk Line's offerings.
- Utilize the Maersk Line Sales process in all customer interactions.
- Conduct customer visits, showcasing the value Maersk Line brings to their business.
- Manage sales volume with existing customers while actively prospecting for new business.
- Share market insights and competitor information to enhance sales strategies.
- Collaborate with the Customer Care department to address customer issues promptly.
- Maintain accurate sales records and manage the sales pipeline effectively.
- Identify opportunities for additional income through land revenues.
People/Leadership:
- Uphold Maersk Group culture, values, and reputation.
- Ensure compliance with Maersk Group policies, standards, and procedures.
Reporting and Scope:
- Individual contributor role reporting to the Commercial Manager / Sales Manager.
- Primarily focused on the local/domestic market.
