Job Summary
The primary purpose of this role is to ensure all governance processes and documentation are meticulously followed to accurately reflect all physical inventory movements in SAP. The Inventory Control Clerk will also support primary and secondary distribution activities as needed.
Key Responsibilities
- Verify that all Sales and Distribution (SD) shipment packs are accurate and complete.
- Ensure all Interdepot Movement Notes are correct and fully documented.
- Reconcile physical documents with PD and SD Gate Registers and the final load plan.
- File all stock and shipment packs according to SAB requirements.
- Assist with credit queries and report any missing documents or errors.
- Control documentation in accordance with audit and Sarbanes-Oxley (SARBox) requirements.
- Apply inventory management principles and policies.
- Conduct inventory counts as per company policies and procedures.
- Generate daily stock variance reports.
- Manage the issuing and receiving of stock.
- Assist with SAP transactions for primary and secondary distribution shipments.
- Process customer and driver corrections, assigning variance reasons accordingly.
- Ensure all RSC invoices are recorded, sent for customer signatures, and track any missing or unsigned invoices within the specified timeframe.
- Capture data on missing, broken, and foreign surveys.
- Print and attach beer age concessions for shipments received out of specification.
- Capture fuel usage and raise purchase orders as needed.
- Resolve all invoice queries efficiently.
Requirements
- Matric / Grade 12.
- Tertiary diploma/degree in Stock Control/Management is advantageous.
- 2-3 years of experience in a stock control environment.
- Comprehensive understanding of stock control processes.
- Proficiency in MS Office and knowledge of the SAP R3 system.
