Position Overview
As an Inventory Controller at QFA Nigeria Limited, you will play a crucial role in managing and overseeing inventory operations to ensure the accuracy and efficiency of our stock management systems. You will be responsible for maintaining optimal inventory levels, addressing discrepancies, and improving inventory control processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Cycle Count Management: Oversee all cycle count programs, ensuring consistency and accuracy. Identify and address any operational issues related to inventory.
- Record Keeping: Maintain detailed records of inventory variances as per established procedures. Ensure the accuracy of product transfers between facilities.
- Return Shipments: Administer return shipments for customers, managing any shortages or damages and communicating these issues to the manufacturer.
- Personnel Oversight: Supervise the work of inventory control staff, ensuring objectives are met and implementing improvements where necessary.
- Material Security: Ensure the optimal security of all inventory materials and coordinate shipments based on requirements.
- Transaction Monitoring: Monitor and ensure the accuracy of all inventory transactions, maintaining comprehensive records of stockroom locations.
- Paperwork Preparation: Prepare and update required documentation for vendor products, ensuring inventory accuracy and resolving any related issues.
- Procurement Requests: Oversee procurement requests from facilities, ensuring the accuracy of inbound inventory and maintaining relevant records.
- Staff Training: Provide training on payroll processes to staff and make necessary adjustments as required.
Requirements
- Education: B.Sc. Degree in a relevant field.
- Experience: 3-5 years of experience in inventory control or a related role.
