About the Role
As an Inventory Officer at Softhills Group, you will play a pivotal role in managing and optimizing our inventory systems to support seamless operations. This is an opportunity to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment where precision and organization are key.
Key Responsibilities
Inventory Management
- Monitor stock levels and implement effective inventory control measures to ensure inventory is accessed only with proper authorization.
- Maintain an accurate and up-to-date inventory database, capturing essential details such as stock quality, quantity, location, and other product specifications.
- Reconcile physical stock with system records to ensure data accuracy and consistency.
Technology Utilization
- Leverage inventory management software and related technologies to track stock movement and generate comprehensive reports.
- Use digital tools to streamline inventory processes and enhance operational efficiency.
Compliance and Reporting
- Ensure all inventory operations comply with company policies, safety protocols, and regulatory standards.
- Prepare detailed daily reports on stock activity, including receivables, releases, variances, and closing balances.
Auditing and Process Improvement
- Conduct regular stock audits and implement reconciliation processes to minimize discrepancies.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement to enhance inventory accuracy and overall efficiency.
Collaboration
- Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to ensure smooth inventory operations.
- Provide real-time updates and reports to supervisors for informed decision-making.
Qualifications and Skills
- Minimum of HND or its equivalent; 2-3 years of relevant experience required.
- Additional certifications in Supply Chain Management or related fields are an advantage.
- Proven track record in inventory management with demonstrated problem-solving skills.
- Exceptional organizational and time-management skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities to liaise effectively with teams and stakeholders.
- Analytical mindset with strong mathematical skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while handling multiple priorities.
Compensation
- Salary: N100,000 monthly
