Job Title: Inventory Officer
Location: Lagos, Nigeria
Job Responsibilities
- Maintain and update accurate stock records to ensure inventory integrity.
- Track orders throughout the supply chain, promptly investigating and reporting any issues or discrepancies.
- Maintain a comprehensive database of inventory items, perform physical counts, and reconcile results in accordance with Perfetti Van Melle Nigeria’s established processes.
- Conduct regular counting of products, materials, and supplies in stock to ensure accuracy and availability.
- Report discrepancies between physical counts and system-generated records to management for resolution.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize inventory management processes and implement best practices.
Requirements
- Candidates should possess relevant qualifications in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field.
- Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and workplace organization principles is essential.
- Strong understanding of inventory control systems and methodologies.
- Excellent reconciliation skills, with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities to collaborate across departments.
