Responsibilities
As an LPN, you will:
- Plan, coordinate, and manage nursing care services and health education for nursing home guests.
- Supervise Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA)/State-Tested Nursing Assistants (STNA) and team members providing guest care.
- Administer medication safely and accurately, ensuring guest comfort and well-being.
- Assess guest health and promptly notify physicians of changes in status, implementing new orders as needed.
- Implement appropriate nursing interventions to stabilize conditions or prevent complications.
- Contribute to guest assessments (MDS/CAA’s) and care plans.
Qualifications
- Preferably 1-3 years of experience in a long-term care setting.
- Current LPN licensure in the state.
- CPR certification.
