What You'll Do
As an RN Unit Manager, you will supervise nursing care provided by RNs, LPNs, CNAs, and others. Key responsibilities include:
- Reviewing and implementing nursing procedures and systems
- Assessing systems to ensure quality guest care and staff performance
- Using a systematic nursing process to deliver individualized care
- Contributing to guest assessments (MDS/CAA’s) and developing care plans
- Evaluating guests’ responses to nursing interventions
- Administering medications and treatments as prescribed
Qualifications
- Current state nursing licensure required
- Current CPR certification; additional nursing specialty certification preferred
- Management or supervisor experience in long-term care or geriatric nursing preferred
