Cancer Advocacy and Awareness Essay Competition (CAANEC) 2024 invites senior secondary school students in Nigeria to participate. Organized by the PATELA Care Foundation and partners, this competition educates and empowers youth on cancer awareness, advocacy, and research.

Eligibility: Open to senior secondary students in Oyo State and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).
Essay Topic: Discuss healthy ways to reduce the risk of developing cancer.
Rewards:
Winner: ?150,000, 1st Runner-up: ?120,000, 2nd Runner-up: ?100,000. Every participant receives a Certificate of Good Effort and access to PCF cancer control health education platforms.
