Job Description:
We are seeking an adept Accountant to oversee all financial operations, spanning fixed payments, variable expenses, bank deposits, and budget management. Your role will entail auditing financial documents and procedures, reconciling bank statements, and ensuring accurate tax calculations and filings. Ideal candidates will bring prior bookkeeping experience and a keen eye for numerical accuracy. Your ultimate goal will be to furnish precise quantitative insights into our financial standing, liquidity, and cash flows, all while ensuring full compliance with tax regulations.
Responsibilities:
- Manage all accounting transactions efficiently
- Prepare comprehensive budget forecasts
- Timely publication of financial statements
- Oversight of balance sheets and profit/loss statements
- Reporting on the company’s financial well-being and liquidity
- Conduct audits of financial transactions and documents
- Uphold confidentiality of financial data and execute database backups as needed
- Adherence to financial policies and regulations
- Conduct monthly, quarterly, and annual closings meticulously
- Reconcile accounts payable and receivable
- Ensure prompt bank payments
- Compute taxes accurately and prepare tax returns
