We're currently seeking a Land Surveyor to join our team in Bayelsa and Rivers on a contract basis.
Responsibilities:
- Conducting Surveys: Accurately determine and measure land boundaries, contours, and features.
- Creating Maps and Plats: Utilize gathered data to craft precise maps, plats, and legal descriptions.
- Analyzing Documents: Evaluate legal papers, historical records, and physical evidence to pinpoint boundary locations and place markers accordingly.
- Providing Expertise: Offer guidance and technical support on land matters, ensuring adherence to regulations and zoning rules.
- Ensuring Accuracy: Maintain the integrity of survey data through meticulous measurements, quality checks, and error rectification.
- Upholding Standards: Adhere to ethical and professional guidelines, maintaining confidentiality and delivering unbiased results.
- Leveraging Technology: Employ advanced tools and software for data processing, digital mapping, and precise measurements.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree or HND in Surveying or a related field.
- Proven experience in land surveying, including topographic and building surveying.
- Familiarity with standard surveying procedures and tools.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Experience in Oil & Gas sector is advantageous.
- Strong proficiency in surveying tools, software, and equipment.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently.
