Approximately 37 students are selected as Lester B. Pearson Scholars each year. The scholarship includes:

This opportunity is available exclusively for first-entry undergraduate programs at the University of Toronto.
Eligibility Criteria
To qualify for the Lester B. Pearson International Scholarships, applicants must:
- Be international students requiring a study permit.
- Be in their final year of secondary school in 2024/2025 or have graduated no earlier than June 2024.
- Commence studies at the University of Toronto in September 2025 (students already enrolled in post-secondary education or starting in January 2025 elsewhere are ineligible).
Application Process
To apply for the scholarship:

School Nomination: Your school must nominate you. Schools that haven't participated before can apply to join the program.

Apply to University: Submit your application to the University of Toronto by October 18, 2024. The Lester B. Pearson Scholarship will automatically be considered for your first-choice program.

Complete Scholarship Application: Upon nomination and university application, complete the online Lester B. Pearson Scholarship application by November 8, 2024. A private application link will be provided after nomination.
