Job Purpose:
As a Logistics Engineer at TotalEnergies E&P Nigeria Ltd, you'll play a crucial role in enhancing procedural efficiency, planning effectiveness, and reporting accuracy within the Technical Logistics Department. Your primary objective is to deliver innovative logistics solutions for the safe and efficient transportation of personnel and materials across our various sites.
Job Dimensions:
- Provide Technical Logistics Support for Exploration and Production activities across multiple sites, including FPSOs, drilling rigs, and logistics bases.
- Oversee vessel movements, marine cargo hours, flights, and passenger transportation on an annual basis.
- Manage logistics operations involving aviation, marine, and supply base activities.
Responsibilities:
- Procedures: Develop, streamline, and update logistics procedures for aviation, marine, and supply base operations.
- Planning and Budgeting: Contribute to short, medium, and long-term logistics planning and liaise with the Integrated Planning Team.
- Digital and Efficiency Initiatives: Identify optimization opportunities through digital tools and drive innovation in logistics operations.
- GHG Initiatives: Actively participate in carbon footprint reduction initiatives and report fuel consumption for environmental compliance.
- Cost Control and Optimization: Prepare activity reports, participate in budget reviews, and identify cost-saving opportunities.
- CFT Support: Analyze KPIs, support contract negotiations, and optimize logistics performance.
- IST Correspondence: Maintain IST correspondence and prepare forecasts for equipment needs and related projects.
- Reporting: Create and maintain templates for technical logistics reports and analyze KPI/CPI reports for performance evaluation.
Context & Environment:
- The job is based in Port-Harcourt or Lagos, Nigeria.
- Work regime consists of 5 working days per week, 8 hours per day, with occasional travel to other locations.
Candidate Profile:
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Business (Economics) or Technical Discipline.
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in Oil and Gas Exploration and Production Logistics Support.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, SAP (MM) systems, and other technical logistics tools.
- Fluency in English.
