Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Maintenance Manager – Trucks & Cars to oversee the servicing, repair, and preventive maintenance of a diverse fleet. The fleet primarily consists of Sino, Hyundai, and Howo trucks, alongside Toyota 4Runner and Highlander vehicles. The successful candidate will ensure operational efficiency, minimize vehicle downtime, and manage all maintenance-related activities.
Key Responsibilities

Fleet Maintenance Management – Develop and execute preventive and corrective maintenance schedules to keep vehicles in top condition.

Vehicle Inspections & Diagnostics – Perform regular vehicle inspections, diagnose mechanical issues, and implement necessary repairs.

Breakdown & Emergency Repairs – Oversee and manage urgent repairs to ensure quick turnaround and minimize operational disruptions.

Regulatory Compliance & Safety – Ensure all maintenance activities adhere to industry safety regulations and environmental guidelines.

Vendor & Service Coordination – Work with external service providers to source quality spare parts and specialized repair services.

Cost Control & Efficiency Improvement – Implement cost-effective maintenance strategies to optimize resources and reduce expenses.

Workshop & Team Management – Lead and supervise a team of mechanics and technicians, ensuring adherence to best maintenance practices.

Spare Parts Inventory Control – Monitor stock levels, coordinate procurement, and ensure the availability of essential spare parts.
Qualifications & Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree or HND in Mechanical or Automotive Engineering or a related discipline.

5-10 years of experience in fleet maintenance, workshop management, or vehicle servicing.

Strong expertise in maintaining Sino, Hyundai, and Howo trucks, as well as Toyota 4Runner and Highlander vehicles.

Proficiency in diesel and petrol engine diagnostics, electrical systems, braking systems, and transmission maintenance.

Hands-on experience with fleet management software and computerized maintenance tracking systems (CMMS) is an advantage.

Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Ability to train and mentor junior mechanics and technicians.

Familiarity with modern diagnostic tools for ECU scanning and troubleshooting.
Preferred Experience

Background in logistics, haulage, or fleet operations.

Knowledge of advanced vehicle diagnostics and repair techniques.
Salary
N300,000 - N400,000 Monthly.
