Role Overview
The Senior Manager/Manager of Construction Project Management is part of the Global Design and Construction team (over 200 professionals) delivering more than 70 projects globally per year, exceeding $2B in capital expenditure. This role directs day-to-day activities and operations of a large team of Construction/Operation Project Managers, mentors junior team members, and makes strategic decisions to resolve project issues.
Key Responsibilities
- Management: Provide guidance to Project Managers and set goals for team members.
- Project Management: Oversee one or more smaller projects or a single large construction project, ensuring safety, standards, and compliance with regulations.
- Vendor Relations: Manage relationships with external vendors, including contractors and design teams.
- Contract Administration: Oversee contract procedures and liaise with local authorities.
- Leadership: Direct and mentor internal and external project team members.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in construction management or equivalent experience.
- 3-5 years of experience in construction project management, preferably in critical infrastructure for data centers.
- Strong customer focus, self-motivation, and flexibility.
Targeted Pay Range
- San Francisco, CA/Bay Area: $128,000 to $235,000 per year
- Other locations: Varies based on state and experience.
