Entry Requirements

To apply, candidates must meet the following eligibility criteria:

1. Age Requirement
   You must be at least 16 years old by the time of application.

2. Academic Qualifications

   • Possess a Senior Secondary School Certificate (SSCE, NECO, NABTEB, or GCE) with a minimum of five credits in:
     • English Language
     • Mathematics
     • Physics
     • Chemistry
     • Biology
   • These results must be obtained in no more than two sittings.

3. Additional Documents

   • Birth Certificate (Note: Baptism cards are not accepted).
   • Testimonial from your last school attended.
   • A reference letter from your Parish Priest, Pastor, or a valid Baptism Certificate.
   • For married applicants, a Marriage Certificate is required.
   • Original and photocopies of all required documents.
   • Three recent passport photographs.
   • Valid ID (NIN, PVC, Driver’s Licence, or International Passport).

4. Post Basic Nursing Programme Requirements
   In addition to the above, candidates for the Post Basic Nursing Programme must hold a Registered Midwife (RM) Certificate and License.

How to Apply

• Application Forms: Available from 10th September 2024. You can purchase the form directly from the college.
• Application Fee: ₦20,250. Pay into First Bank account number 3016944553 under the name School of Nursing, Mater Misericordiae Hospital, Afikpo.
• After payment, visit the college with proof of payment to collect your application form.
• Office Hours: The admissions office is open from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday through Friday.
• Form Submission Deadline: Return your completed form by 22nd October 2024.

Entrance Examination and Interview

• Examination Date:
  Thursday, 24th October 2024
  Subjects Covered: Mathematics, English, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology.

• Interview Date:
  Friday, 25th October 2024 at 8:30 AM.

• Examination Format:
  The test will be conducted via Computer-Based Testing (CBT).

• Important for Post Basic Nursing Candidates:
  Please bring your Midwifery Notification and Licenses to the interview.
