Currently, our primary attention is on NE Nigeria, specifically Borno, Adamawa, Yobe, and Zamfara States.
We're Hiring: Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability, and Learning (MEAL) Officer
Location: Borno, Nigeria
Employment Type: Full-time
Description: As a MEAL Officer with PRIDE, you'll play a crucial role in managing information, reporting processes, and ensuring the high-quality communication of our programmatic activities and results. Responsibilities include developing monitoring frameworks, assessing project M&E systems, and contributing to the alignment of M&E activities with program goals.
Primary Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and assess monitoring frameworks for PRIDE partnerships and projects.
- Facilitate the design of "SMART" objectives, logic models, and evaluation plans.
- Analyze data for accuracy, flag validation issues, and contribute to system fixes.
- Aggregate and analyze data for management decision-making.
- Support the development of proposals and concept notes.
- Ensure quality and timely submission of quarterly reports.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree (Statistics, Demographics, Public Health, or International Development preferred).
- Minimum 3 years of experience in monitoring and evaluation.
- Fluency in English with excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational, and time management skills.
- Ability to manage critical relationships and engage stakeholders effectively.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and online research.
