The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining mechanical systems in line with our operational needs. Job Description: Mechanical Engineer
As a Mechanical Engineer, you will play an integral role in ensuring the smooth operation of all mechanical systems within our plant. Your primary responsibility will be to design, develop, and test mechanical components and systems. You will also oversee the maintenance and optimization of production equipment, such as forklifts, tractors, furnaces, and trucks. Additionally, you will be responsible for conducting risk assessments and ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and Development: Create detailed designs for mechanical systems and components that meet project specifications and requirements.
- Maintenance Management: Oversee mechanical maintenance of all production equipment to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
- Risk Assessment: Perform risk assessments on mechanical systems and implement effective mitigation strategies to prevent accidents and system failures.
- Industry Trends: Stay updated on the latest advancements in mechanical engineering technologies and industry practices to ensure continuous improvement.
- Performance Testing: Test mechanical systems for performance, reliability, and efficiency to ensure they meet quality standards.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to integrate mechanical systems with other plant operations and ensure seamless production processes.

Qualifications and Requirements
To qualify for this role, candidates must possess the following qualifications and experience:
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in mechanical engineering, preferably within an industrial or manufacturing environment.
- Proven experience with mechanical systems design and development, including testing and performance evaluation.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and materials.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to collaborate effectively in team settings.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and analytical thinking skills.
- Adequate knowledge of engineering analysis tools and industrial machines.
Required Skills
