Key Responsibilities

Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair electromechanical equipment, pneumatic and hydraulic systems, electric motors, pumps, screw feeders, mixers, boilers, gas-generating plants, and diesel generators.

Conduct preventive maintenance to ensure the efficiency and longevity of mechanical systems.

Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of work performed, including unfinished tasks and inventory of materials/spare parts.

Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and best practices to prevent mechanical hazards and workplace accidents.

Prioritize and execute daily maintenance tasks efficiently to meet operational deadlines.

Implement a structured preventive maintenance program, adhering to manufacturer instructions and established procedures.

Inspect mechanical systems and equipment for defects, faults, or potential hazards, taking corrective action where necessary.

Work proactively to minimize downtime and improve mechanical maintenance processes.

Perform additional duties as assigned by the unit head.
Requirements & Qualifications

Strong working knowledge of technical training, fault-finding, and troubleshooting techniques.

Proficiency in interpreting mechanical and instrumentation processes.

Ability to prioritize competing demands and meet deadlines efficiently.

Willingness to travel on short notice as required by operational demands.

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Strong sense of responsibility, accountability, and attention to detail.

In-depth understanding of mechanical machinery, instrumentation, and maintenance best practices.
