Job Description
As a Medical Representative at Boehringer Ingelheim, you'll play a pivotal role in promoting our core products to healthcare professionals. Working within the framework of Boehringer Ingelheim’s standard operational procedures and in compliance with Ministry of Health regulations, you'll provide clinical and technical information to healthcare professionals within your assigned territory. Reporting directly to the National Sales Manager, you'll be based in either Lagos or Port Harcourt, Nigeria.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive Sales Action Plan aimed at establishing and nurturing long-term partnerships with key accounts.
- Drive towards achieving sales and market share objectives and targets.
- Foster a customer-centric approach by collaborating with cross-functional and external stakeholders.
- Cultivate and maintain relationships with healthcare professionals.
- Prepare regular activity trackers and sales-related reports/objectives.
- Conduct and report on competitive intelligence activities pertaining to key accounts.
- Design and implement aligned sales account plans based on local activity and expert engagement plans.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy, Medicine, or a related field.
- 2-3 years of similar work experience, preferably in a multinational pharmaceutical company.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience within the cardio-metabolic therapy area is preferred.
- At least 1 year of experience in a similar role.
- Possession of a valid driver’s license.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications.
