Job Purpose
The Neighbourhood Channel Sales Manager is responsible for implementing the sales strategy to meet business objectives within their assigned Neighbourhood. This role involves managing Van Sales Representatives (VSR) and driving performance without direct management of distributor staff.
Key Accountabilities
- Manage VSR and ensure secondary sales targets are met.
- Effectively manage promotional activities in Neighbourhood outlets.
- Track and achieve SFA parameters.
- Drive brand visibility and implement a “picture of success” strategy.
- Gather market intelligence and monitor competitor activities.
- Expand coverage in Neighbourhood outlets and ensure MSL availability.
- Provide coaching and support to VSR.
Knowledge, Skills & Experience
- First Degree in any discipline.
- Minimum of 1 year experience in marketing or sales, achieving KPIs.
- Familiarity with PZ Cussons' sales capabilities, focusing on point-of-purchase execution, outlet segmentation, and relationship management.
- Knowledge of business objectives, field sales management, and market intelligence.
- Valid driver's license and driving experience.
