Nestlé Nigeria has unveiled its 2025 Annual Community Scholarships Programme, continuing its mission to empower young Nigerians in senior secondary and tertiary education, with a strong focus on Science and Technology.
Overview of the Programme
Since its inception in 2020, the Nestlé Community Scholarship has supported hundreds of students pursuing academic excellence. This year, the programme will allocate N18 million in grants to cover tuition, accommodation, books, and other essential expenses for successful applicants.
Eligibility Requirements
For Tertiary Students
- Must be a 100-level student in an accredited university or polytechnic.
- Must be enrolled in a Science or Technical course.
- Must have a UTME score of 200 or above.
- Must have 5 credits in WASSCE/NECO, including Mathematics, English, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology (in one sitting).
For Senior Secondary Students
- Must be a Science or Technical student in SS1.
- Must attend a selected school near Nestlé's operations, such as Owode High School or Remo Secondary School in Sagamu.
- Must have 5 credits in BECE exams, including Mathematics, English, and Basic Science.
Scholarship Benefits
- Total grants of N18 million.
- Covers tuition fees, accommodation, books, uniforms, and other academic expenses.
- Provides essential financial support for uninterrupted education.
