Introduction to the NAE Postgraduate Scholarship
NAE invites applications from qualified and motivated Nigerian graduates for the 2024/2025 academic year. The scholarship has two categories: Nigerian universities and overseas universities.
Eligibility Criteria
To qualify, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Academic Requirement: Minimum of Second Class Upper Bachelor’s degree from a recognized Nigerian university.
- Admission Requirement: Provisional admission for a one-year Master’s Degree in eligible fields.
- Age Limit: Not above 28 years by December 2024.
- NYSC: Completion of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) programme.
- International Travel: Valid international passport (for overseas scholarship category).

- Engineering (Petroleum, Mechanical, Civil, SubSea, Electrical/Electronics, Marine, Chemical)
- Petroleum Economics
- Law (Oil and Gas/Petroleum focus)

- Selection Process: Shortlisted candidates will be contacted via SMS and email for the qualifying test.
- Aptitude Test: An aptitude test is part of the selection process.
- Eligibility: Current and past beneficiaries of similar awards from NAE or affiliates, and employees of NAE and their dependents, are not eligible.
