We are pleased to announce that applications are now open for admission into the Nile University of Nigeria, Abuja, for the 2024/2025 academic session. We invite suitably qualified candidates to apply through either the Post UTME or Direct Entry channels.
Courses and Requirements

Faculty of Arts, Management, and Social Sciences:
- UTME: Candidates must possess five credits at SSCE (or its equivalent) in English, Mathematics, and any other two relevant subjects including Economics, Accounting, or Government.
- Direct Entry: A minimum of two "A" level credits including Economics, or NCE/OND with credit passes in relevant subjects.

Political Science and International Relations:
- UTME: Five ‘O’ level credit passes including English Language, Government or History, with at least a pass in Mathematics and any other relevant subjects.
- Direct Entry: Not applicable.

English Studies:
- UTME: Five credits at SSCE (or its equivalent) including English Language and Literature in English.
- Direct Entry: At least two A level passes including Literature in English and one other Arts subject.

Biology:
- UTME: Five Credits at SSCE (or its equivalent) in English, Mathematics, Biology, and any other science subjects.
- Direct Entry: Two “A” level passes in Biology and any one of Physics, Mathematics, or Chemistry.

Chemistry:
- UTME: Five Credits at SSCE (or its equivalent) in English, Chemistry, Mathematics, and any other two science subjects.
- Direct Entry: Two “A” level passes in Chemistry and any one of Physics, Mathematics, or Biology.

Computer Science:
- UTME: Five credit passes at SSCE (or its equivalent) including English & Mathematics and any other 3 subjects preferably Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Agric. Science.
- Direct Entry: Two “A” level passes in Mathematics and either Physics and/or Chemistry.

Faculty of Engineering:
- UTME: Five credit passes at SSCE (or its equivalent) including English & Mathematics and any other 3 subjects preferably Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry.
- Direct Entry: Two “A” level passes in Mathematics and either Physics and/or Chemistry.

Department of Law:
- UTME: Five credits at SSCE (or its equivalent) including English Language and Literature in English.
- Direct Entry: At least two A level passes including Literature in English and one other Arts subject.
Admission Procedures

Nigerian Applicants:
- Must take the JAMB Examination (UTME) and obtain the approved cut-off mark for the year.
- Must present 5 credits at no more than two sittings.

Foreign Applicants:
- Must provide their corresponding Examination Results as well as an academic transcript of previous high schools.

Transfer & Direct Entry Students:
- Direct Entry candidates must have completed OND, HSE, HND, or 'A' level GCE, among others.
- Transfer candidates from national universities are generally given preference.

- Copy of Official Senior Secondary School Transcript
- Copy of Official Senior Secondary School Certificate
- Copies of Official Examination Results
- Guarantor’s Letter/Attestation of Financial Support
- Medical Report & Immunization Records
- Letter of Recommendation from Secondary School Counsel/Principal
- 4 Recent Passport Photographs
