Types of Awards
There are two categories of the scholarship:

Host/Transit Communities Merit Award – For students from OANDO host or transit communities.

National Merit Award – For students from other regions in Nigeria.
Eligibility Requirements
Who Can Apply?
To qualify for this scholarship, you must:

Be a full-time 100-level student in a recognized Nigerian tertiary institution.

Be currently enrolled at the time of application.
Who Cannot Apply?
You are not eligible if you:

Are in 200 level or higher.
-
Are already receiving another similar scholarship.

Are related to or under the care of an OANDO staff member.
Choosing the Right Award Category

Host/Transit Merit Award: Only for indigenes from host or transit areas in Rivers, Bayelsa, Delta, and Imo States.

National Merit Award: Only for students pursuing degrees in Engineering, Geology, Geosciences, or Agricultural Sciences.

Proof of Local Government Area of Origin

Letter from the paramount ruler of the community (for Host/Transit applicants only)
