Job Purpose:

Provide Nursing Service in TotalEnergies EP Nigeria's Port Harcourt and Lagos Clinics.

Job Dimensions:

  • First line consultations during and after working hours.
  • Operational Nursing activities adhering to company HSE rules.
  • Supervision of Support nursing personnel.
  • Coordination with Radiology, Laboratory, and Pharmacy units for patient care.
  • Contribute to the optimization of Medical division goals.
  • Perform domestic medical escorts when necessary.
  • Fulfill any other duties assigned by the supervisor to achieve overall medical division goals.

Activities:

Medical Care:

  • Patient sorting, primary assessment, and intervention.
  • Manage patient flow in after-hours clinic, triaging, and following up with consultations, investigations, and treatment.
  • Minor consultations and administration of first-line medications.
  • Treatment of minor ailments.
  • Monitor and improve treatment/hospitalization area standards.
  • Health education program formulation and implementation.
  • OPD/Hospitalization data collation and analysis for future activity forecasting.
  • Training and supervision of ancillary personnel.
  • Provision of nursing and psychological care for hospitalized patients.
  • Participation in Medical transfer of patients to retainer hospitals.
  • Formulation and implementation of preventive healthcare programs, particularly immunization.

Context & Environment:

Responsible and accountable for nursing responsibilities under the authority of the Head of Hospitalization in the Lagos or Port Harcourt clinic Onshore Nigeria.

Candidate Profile:

  • B.Sc Nursing / BN.Sc / Registered General Nurse.
  • Minimum 6 years of experience.
  • Valid BLS/ACLS +/- ITLS certifications.
  • Basic Computer + office Knowledge.
  • Registered in Nigeria as a Nurse/Midwife with a valid Nursing License.
  • Work experience in an IOC and/or reputable public or private hospital.
  • Further Qualification in Accident & Emergency Nursing would be advantageous.
