Job Title: Operations Officer (Scientific & Technical Services)
Location: Umuahia, Abia

Responsibilities
- Serve as a field application scientist.
- Act as the primary contact for scientific project communications.
- Document and report project progress and status to clients regularly.
- Prepare project documentation and research reports for management.
- Collaborate with management to develop project plans, budgets, and schedules.
- Support manufacturing and industrial operations.
- Lead and coordinate assigned research projects.
- Design and oversee routine laboratory experiments.
- Drive research efforts to meet deadlines and budgets.
- Develop and enforce research policies and procedures.
- Address project issues, escalating complex matters to management.
- Manage project teams and promptly address any issues.
Job Requirements
- A Degree in Laboratory Science, Chemistry, Industrial Chemistry, Biochemistry, Microbiology, Chemical Engineering, Biochemical Engineering, Materials Engineering, or related fields.
- Experience in conducting team meetings and discussing project statuses.
- Proven ability to deliver research projects and manage team responsibilities.
- Capability to provide analytical support for manufacturing and industrial operations.
- Skilled in developing suitable assays for analytical work.
