Job Description

We are looking for an experienced and proactive Operations Skills Development Executive to drive skill enhancement and workforce training within our manufacturing processes. This role requires expertise in designing, implementing, and monitoring learning systems to eliminate skill-related losses while aligning with Integrated Work System (IWS) methodologies and the Education and Training pillar framework.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage a factory training team, consisting of Operations Skill Officers and technical specialists, to deliver high-quality education and training programs.

  • Develop and execute the Education & Training pillar strategy to improve efficiency and eliminate skill-related gaps across all operational areas.

  • Design and oversee the implementation of competency-based assessments (CBAs) to enhance workforce capabilities.

  • Ensure the integration of cutting-edge learning methodologies by networking with external institutions and industry experts.

  • Collaborate with the Human Resources Talent team to execute skills development projects aligned with business goals.

  • Maintain and oversee the factory’s integrated training calendar, ensuring seamless alignment with talent development objectives and Skills Needs Assessments (SNA).

  • Develop structured training curricula tailored to various operational roles to ensure continuous professional growth.

  • Implement a trainer qualification system to maintain consistency and high standards in training delivery.

  • Monitor training effectiveness through data-driven assessment tools and feedback mechanisms.

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Manufacturing, Operations Management, or a related discipline.

  • Strong analytical and diagnostic skills to assess training needs and skill gaps.

  • Proven ability to engage with diverse stakeholders across multiple organizational levels.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; familiarity with SAP is an added advantage.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to manage complexity.

  • Strategic planning and organizational capabilities to drive workforce development initiatives.
