Job Description
The primary responsibility of this role is to provide specialized electrical artisan skills and knowledge to our shift team. You will support the operations and maintenance of our Packaging Line, ensuring smooth functionality and assisting in troubleshooting as needed.
Responsibilities
- Ensure a safe, healthy work environment, adhering to all safety protocols and environmental regulations.
- Participate in standby duties as per schedule.
- Uphold high standards of safety and housekeeping.
- Identify and report unsafe practices and conduct safety inspections.
- Operate and maintain workshop equipment.
- Perform maintenance tasks, plan repairs, and conduct troubleshooting activities.
- Operate and oversee machines and associated devices in the Packaging process.
- Optimize plant operations and process equipment.
- Ensure completion of maintenance tasks with accuracy and efficiency.
- Foster effective communication within teams and contribute to team and self-development.
Profile
- Trade Tested with N3 Electrical qualification.
- Electrical artisan certification with additional competence in Control & Automation.
- Ideally, 3-6 months of on-the-job training.
- 1-2 years of experience as an Electrical Artisan in a similar industry.
- Strong management and people-handling skills.
- Mechanical artisan with N4 to N6 qualification preferred.
- Basic Manufacturing Maintenance Training completion.
- Minimum 2-3 months on-the-job training.
