Short Description
This role involves overseeing patient transportation to and from floors and Critical Care units across all Radiologic modalities.
- Pre-screen requisitions to prevent duplicate treatments, escalating issues to shift supervisors or lead technologists.
- Coordinate modalities to streamline patient visits and procedures.
- Manage up to 5 patient transporters to optimize patient flow.
- Handle departmental phone calls with professionalism and efficiency.
- Schedule house patients for diagnostic studies as required.
Experience Required
Excellent telephone etiquette, proficient computer skills across multiple programs, adept at multitasking.
Education Requirements
High School Diploma or equivalent, some college preferred.
