Job Description:
Join us on our transformative journey as we rewrite our narrative. We seek a seasoned Piping Engineer to enrich our dynamic team. As a Piping Engineer, your primary responsibility will entail designing piping systems and generating drawings for the installation and integration of equipment across greenfield and brownfield oil and gas production facilities.
Your role will encompass piping modifications, equipment interconnections, upgrade/revamp initiatives, and the creation of precise as-built drawings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Spearheading project engineering initiatives to optimize production facility performance.
- Executing piping designs for flowlines installation campaigns.
- Serving as a Pipeline Field Engineer until additional personnel are onboarded.
- Generating as-built drawings of facilities.
- Evaluating management of change proposals and implementing modifications to ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and equipment reliability standards.
- Conducting field replacements of corroded piping.
- Crafting piping designs to enhance production efficiency.
- Developing piping layouts for the interconnection of field equipment.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree (B.Sc) or Higher National Diploma (HND) in Mechanical or Civil Engineering.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD is essential.
- Minimum of 7 years' experience in piping designs within the oil and gas industry.
- Ability to foster positive relationships within a diverse workforce, including peers, contractors, supervisors, and customers.
- Adaptability to overcome challenges inherent in working within the Niger Delta Oil and Gas fields.
- Prior experience in the Niger Delta oil field is advantageous.
- Capability to thrive in a multidisciplinary team environment with minimal supervision, demonstrating a track record of success in delivering complex production facilities efficiently and punctually.
