Job Title: Planning Engineer
Location: Port Harcourt, Rivers
Employment Type: Full-Time
Work Experience
- Minimum of 5 years in the Oil & Gas/Petrochemicals Industries.
- Familiarity with technology platforms is an added advantage.
- Proficiency in MS Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Primavera, Project Management) is required.
- Experience in SAP Plant Maintenance (SAP-PM) is a plus.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and a resilient personality.
- Strong organizational skills are essential.
Professional Certifications
- Certifications in SAP, Primavera, Project Management, or Microsoft Office applications are advantageous.
Technical/Leadership Skills
- Ability to translate commercial objectives into technical specifications.
- Advisory experience on optimal solutions in a technical planning role.
- Working knowledge of data mining/analysis using statistical analytical systems (SAS).
- Proficiency in data analytics, manipulation, and visualization tools.
- Strong project and stakeholder management skills.
- Capacity to manage multiple priorities in a high-paced environment.
Principal Accountabilities
- Responsible for performance evaluation and business planning data.
- Liaise with the Integrated Activity Plan (IAP) Planner to ensure proper scheduling.
- Develop annual business and budget plans in collaboration with the Team Lead.
- Organize technical inspections and manage procurement of materials.
- Maintain accurate parts inventory and optimize spare parts stocked.
- Engage with external resources for underwater unit operations.
Work Cycle
- Primarily office-based with occasional visits to East and West Asset Fields/facilities via land transport, helicopter, or boat.
