Job Opportunity: Plant Manager
We are currently recruiting for the position of Plant Manager at our facility in Sagamu, Ogun State. This is a full-time, permanent position for a skilled and experienced professional to oversee the operation and management of our power plant or CNG (Compressed Natural Gas) powered plant.
Key Responsibilities
As the Plant Manager, you will be responsible for the following key duties:
- Oversee and manage day-to-day operations of the power plant or CNG powered plant.
- Lead and supervise plant operations to ensure the effective delivery of power services.
- Manage a team of operators and engineers, ensuring teamwork and collaboration to maintain optimal performance.
- Develop and implement operational procedures and guidelines to enhance plant efficiency.
- Ensure the safety, maintenance, and compliance of the plant with relevant regulations.
- Provide technical leadership and training to ensure high standards of operation and team performance.
Candidate Requirements
To be considered for the Plant Manager role, candidates must meet the following criteria:
- A degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering is preferred.
- A minimum of 35 years of age.
- Proven experience in managing power plants or similar industrial facilities.
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to foster a collaborative, high-performing team.
- In-depth knowledge of power plant operations, including maintenance, safety protocols, and efficiency optimization.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively work with diverse teams.
