About the Job
The Procurement Analyst plays a crucial role in tracking and reporting key business performance indicators and financial targets for the procurement team. This position involves analyzing procurement performance, supporting decision-making processes, and providing operational insights. The role reports directly to the Procurement Compliance and Efficiency Manager.
Key Responsibilities
- Spend Data Collection & Validation: Gather and validate procurement data (contracts, purchase orders, invoices) for accurate analysis.
- Procurement Data Analysis: Identify cost-saving opportunities, supplier performance trends, and market insights to optimize procurement strategies.
- Contract Compliance: Monitor supplier compliance, identify risks, and recommend mitigation strategies.
- Procurement Communication: Provide strategic sourcing recommendations to supply chain managers, finance teams, and senior leadership.
- Cost Analysis & Budgeting: Create detailed reports on cost breakdowns and savings opportunities for efficient budgeting.
- Supplier Performance Assessment: Evaluate supplier performance metrics and offer suggestions for improvements or changes.
Qualifications (Your Secret Ingredients)
- Degree in Business, Economics, Accounting, or Finance.
- 3-5 years of experience in Supply Chain and Finance.
- Strong analytical and presentation skills.
- Proficient in MS Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI, and SAP (R/3, BW, APO).
- Excellent command of English, with solid written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage stakeholders and work in a high-speed, dynamic environment.
