HKI is seeking a Procurement Associate to join our dynamic team in Ebonyi. In this role, you will support procurement activities to ensure the smooth and compliant execution of project procurement plans, focusing on strategic sourcing and supplier management.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure procurement compliance by strictly adhering to HKI’s procurement policies and donor standards.
- Oversee and support the execution of project procurement plans.
- Manage procurement processes such as requisitions, RFQs, bids, and proposals while ensuring adherence to procurement policies.
- Supervise sourcing processes including contracting, legal considerations, and risk analysis.
- Maintain procurement documentation and ensure proper filing.
- Prepare monthly procurement and contract reports.
- Liaise with vendors to ensure timely and accurate delivery of goods and services.
Success Factors
The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, demonstrate strong organizational skills, and have the ability to meet deadlines under pressure. She/he will also have the ability to work independently, collaborate effectively, and uphold high ethical standards.
Qualifications
- University Degree in Purchasing or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in procurement.
- Strong organizational and planning skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Prior experience in donor-funded projects or NGOs is preferred.
