The Opportunity
This position offers the flexibility of remote work within the continental U.S., with occasional business travel required. For those preferring an office environment, we provide flexibility requiring four days per week in-office. Locations include San Antonio, TX; Phoenix, AZ; Colorado Springs, CO; Chesapeake, VA; Plano, TX; or Tampa, FL. Please note, relocation assistance is not available for this role.
What You’ll Do
As part of the Property & Casualty Auto line of business, you will focus on existing Auto products, overseeing product development, compliance, operational enhancements, and more. Key responsibilities include:
- Developing digital-first products tailored to USAA member needs and risks.
- Leading the development and launch of new products and enhancing existing ones.
- Providing expertise in product development strategy, including buy/build decisions and alliances.
- Generating innovative product solutions aligned with member needs and market dynamics.
- Monitoring and maintaining post-launch product performance and underwriting.
- Conducting sophisticated data analysis to inform product strategy and enhance competitive intelligence.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure product offerings comply with legal and regulatory requirements.
What You Have
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Supply Chain, Statistics, or related field; or equivalent experience.
- 8+ years of relevant experience in Actuary, Underwriting, Marketing, Operations, Financial Services, or similar, including product development and management.
- Experience in agile product development, managing multiple products concurrently, and navigating complex, ambiguous environments.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with experience in qualitative and quantitative research, hypothesis testing, and prototyping.
What Sets You Apart
- Previous experience in Property & Casualty Insurance as a product manager or developer.
- Experience deploying P&C Insurance solutions at national and state levels.
- Proficiency in Snowflake, SAS, SQL, Tableau, and advanced Excel skills.
- Exceptional communication and influencing skills to drive results effectively.

USAA offers competitive compensation based on experience and market data, with a salary range of $120,550 to $216,990. Additional benefits include:
