Position Summary:
We're seeking a proactive and organized Program Associate to bolster our Nigeria country projects. Based in Abuja, you'll provide indispensable administrative support to our Country Director, facilitating the smooth execution of initiatives promoting cooperative conflict solutions.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Executive Support:
- Manage the Country Director's schedule, appointments, and travel arrangements.
- Coordinate business development meetings, draft agendas, and ensure follow-up on action items.
- Assist in drafting correspondence, reports, and presentations.
- Handle confidential information with utmost discretion.
Administrative Assistance:
- Act as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders.
- Manage incoming and outgoing correspondence, including emails and phone calls.
- Maintain organized physical and digital filing systems.
- Assist in database management and research tasks.
Program Support:
- Coordinate project activities, logistics, and documentation.
- Prepare and disseminate project materials, reports, and publications.
- Support meeting and event coordination.
- Facilitate programmatic trainings and resource utilization.
Information Management:
- Maintain databases, contact lists, and relevant information systems.
- Conduct research to support programmatic initiatives and decision-making.
Collaboration and Communication:
- Liaise with internal departments, partners, and stakeholders.
- Support internal communication efforts, including updates and reminders.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and relevant software.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Previous non-profit or conflict resolution experience preferred.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience in executive support, administration, or program coordination.
