The Policy Innovation Centre (PIC) is pioneering as Africa's premier national-level organization dedicated to leveraging behavioral insights and innovative policy tools in Nigeria. Position Overview: Program Officer
Location: Abuja

Responsibilities
Project / Programme Management:
- Collaborate with team members to develop comprehensive project plans, timelines, and budgets.
- Provide end-to-end technical project management support, overseeing project design, implementation, and closure.
- Monitor activities of implementing partners, conduct review meetings, and evaluate project progress and impact.
- Prepare detailed reports and presentations on program outcomes, challenges, and recommendations.
Stakeholder Engagement & Advocacy:
- Lead multi-level stakeholder engagement strategies and implementation plans.
- Coordinate advocacy efforts to achieve project objectives and nurture relationships with partner institutions.
- Foster partnerships with civil society, government, and private sectors to support PIC's initiatives.
Research, Innovation & Design:
- Contribute to the ideation and co-creation processes of the Behavioural Innovation Lab.
- Curate content and case studies on behavioral insights in social programs and policies.
- Assist in drafting research outputs and supporting Gender, Equity, and Social Inclusion efforts.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 7 years of experience in program design, planning, implementation, and monitoring and evaluation.
- Experience in gender and policy-related work preferred.
- Proficiency in Hausa language required; familiarity with Northern Nigeria's socio-cultural dynamics advantageous.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and technical writing skills essential.
- Proven ability to engage high-level stakeholders and drive advocacy strategies.
